Road Trips

One of the best things about road trips is their inherent unpredictability. Every stop does not have to be planned and detours are perfectly acceptable. Nothing compares to getting in the car in the morning with a destination in mind, but no set arrival time.

For example, a recent trip to Florida took my family and I through a series of stops off of I-95. We started in Savannah, where we toured the River Front and took a slight detour to Tybee Island. From there, we hit St. Simon's Island, drove through historic St. Marys, and visited Amelia Island before heading to our final destination: St. Augustine, FL.

It was quite a road trip! And I was thrilled to spend time in St. Augustine--it is quickly becoming one of my favorite vacation spots. The city is filled with history and has something for everyone, from adventure to great cultural experiences to relaxation!
